WHO ARE THEY?
My Ruin is an alternative metal band formed in 1999 by Tairrie B; her solo project after the disbandment of her previous band Tura Satana. The bands lineup has had various changes throughout the years, but it's current members are Tairrie B and Mick Murphy.

My Ruin released 7 studio albums between 1999 and 2013. These albums being 'Speak and Destroy', 'A Prayer Under Pressure Of Violent Anguish', 'The Horror of Beauty', 'The Brutal Language', 'Throat Full of Heart', 'Ghost and Good Stories', 'A Southern Revelation', and 'The Sacred Mood'. Many of these albums feature various covers such as Nirvana's 'Negative Creep', Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' 'Do You Love Me?' and Black Flag's 'My War'. They also released other compilations and tour albums...

My Ruin was pretty successful during the peak of their career, their music was recieved well and the band frequently toured with other acts such as Human Waste Project, Kittie, Sugarcoma, and Snot.
My Ruin hasn't released any music in recent years, likely due to issues with their previous record labels, although Tairrie B has hinted about new musical ventures.
